Dream discusses the use of artificial intelligence
in form of an experimental short film and by using artificial intelligence.
synopsis
Dream X questions if we will be able to dream freely in the future.
The animation part was created with a self programmed artificial intelligence.
It focusses an recent global trend: Artificial intelligences try to precalculate our behavior (eg. shopping behavior) even now.
But in future, they maybe will try to precalculate what we will dream or think and maybe control it.
Dominik Downarowicz
studies Chemistry, Physics, Informational Sciences and Law in
Vienna, Austria.
He programmed the AI to compose films and music. He is the festival
founder of the Vienna Science Film Festival.
This is his first film as director.
Andreas Reisenbauer
is an independent Austrian film maker and concept artist
he is the festival organizer and cofounder of the Austrian
Filmfestival.
